 Bleach Unified Site Wide Tournament

It is time for a site wide battle for survival! Anyone may enter this tournament. You are only allowed to have ONE character as well. This is a time to have fun and experience new things. Now, all you have to do is fill out the Sign up Sheet below, and wait until Friday, May 28th, for the Tournament to start. Sign Ups will end at 7Pm on that date. Kenji Saintz will be moderating each and everyone of the battles, so don't even try to GM. This is an OOC Tournamen, so whatever happens will NOT effect your character in the actual RPs for the site. For each race that Advances the farthest, a prize will be given as follows:

Bount- Bounts will recieve a second Doll. Each doll, is double the power of the original doll.

Shinigami- If you are a shinigami without a shikai, you will get a shikai. If you are a shinigami without a bankai, you will get a bankai. If you are a shinigami with both of these, you will advance to the next release, Zenkai. Zenkai is the fusion of both the Shinigami and their Zanpaktou. Sort of like fusing with your spirit. Since you will be fused with your Zan, you should maintain some type of human form, but altered. Your body is your weapon. (Zenkai is incomplete, if you have any ideas on completing it, PM them to me.)

Arrancar: If you are an Arrancar, you may gain a second release. If you are an Espada, or Former Espada, you have to options. One, is that you may have a second Release, and two, is that you can advance to the Vastro Lorde stage. Once you do this, there is no going back. You MUST be a Vastro Lorde for the remainder of you Rp'ing days as that character. Now, since you will be a Vastro Lorde constantly, come up with some abilities for your character. (Normal Arrancars with a Second release will be as strong as a Captain or Esada, Espada or Former Espada with a second release will be equal in power to a Vastro Lorde. Both the Espada's Second Release or Vastro Lordes are Capable of taking on two Captain Class fighters.)

Vizard: Is it not Obvious? You get full hollowfication! You can also use Bankai while in this form...the only way you can use it though, is if you about to die, or actually die. You have to be at your absolute limit!

Humans: Sure you have your powers, but you don't have a form of your own. You will exceed into a new stage of power, you can name this technique with whatever name you wish, but it must still resemble a human in someway shape or form.

Quincies: Due to the Quincies Final Form already being so powerful, all I can really do is give the Quincies 5 new Ginto Spells, a new Bow attack, and a Power Regeneration Cross. This Cross instantly gives a Quincy their powers back. Once the item is used, it dissloves and can never be used again.


Everyone of these new releases and abilites, will be on par with each other unless your getting a shikai, or Bankai. Or, if your a normal arrancar getting a second res. The person for each race that Advances the furthest, will recieve one of the above prizes. Once all of them equip their prizes, they will enter a free for all battle. The winner of the battle, will be titled "Role Player of the Year". If your fighting in the Tournament, and you attack, and two days pass and your opponent hasn't posted, its a hit. If another day goes by, you win the fight. This is what you will need.

Shikai Ability: Hoshi Fuka has a rather simple though very effective ability.

#1- The first of Hoshi Fuka's abilities is the ability for it's user to interject his Reiatsu (Reiryoku when it is in use) into it and compress and change it into a concussive force. The concussive force is roughly equal to the amount of force generated by a punch delivered by Takashi, the blast is launched by utilizing a punching motion.

#2- The second of Hoshi Fuka's abilities is the ability to enhance the force behind it's users punches with no actual input from said user. This allows Takashi to fully utilize his Hakuda skills to their deadliest.

Bankai Ability:Hoshi Fuka has a rather simple series of abilities when in Bankai form.

#1- The ability to condense it's users Reiatsu into a concussive energy ball in an enhanced version of the first of it's Shikai abilities. However while the Shikai's version of this ability is as strong as it's users punch this version is roughly equal to the power released by Hado of levels such as Eighty.

#2. Enhanced Endurance- Takashi's Bankai gives it's user a skin tight Reiryoku based armor under the Bankai's own armor which can be used in a manner similar to Arrancar's Hierro in case of the user's Outer Bankai armor breaking.

#3. Enhanced Physical Capabilities-Takashi's Bankai gives it's user enhanced physical Strength and Speed. [/spoiler]

Race: Vizard

Weapon Description: Sealed: Katana with a diamond hilt, Released: Golden whip with Rose bulb at the end.

Weapon Abilities:Sealed: "Golden Sal Tree Sonata #11: Sixteen Day- Old Moon Rose!": The flower at the end of his whip attaches itself to the enemy. He then taps his whip with his fingers which creates a vortex of energy and engulfs the target.

Bankai: His whip slowly turns green (it takes 5 posts to be fully charged). Once fully green, the rose bulb at the end blooms. This lasts for 3 posts and it basically doubles Roses speed and power.


Character Abilities: -Flash Step Expert
-Master Swordsman ship
-Can use low level cero
-Vizard Mask:Ability:Adds to Rose's Speed and Mental Capabilities. The masks' ability is it can daze an opponent for a turn. The mask lasts 2 posts.

Weapon Description:

Bow:
Alfonse's bow is a solid, metallic black bow with green vine like drawings on it.

The Quincy possess numerous artifacts and equipment which help them in different ways. Below are the ones that have been shown:


  • Hollow bait
    This item is a small, coin-shaped disk that attracts hollows when
    crushed. When used by Uryū, the bait, in combination with Ichigo's
    powerful spiritual pressure, was able to draw a Gillian-class Menos out
    of Hueco Mundo.





  • Quincy bangle: Introduced
    in the anime's Bount arc, the Quincy Bangle is an artifact designed to
    mimic a Quincy's natural powers. It works by drawing in spirit
    particles from the environment, much like a Quincy does regularly. It
    can only be used properly by those who are already adept at forming and
    directing spirit particles.





  • Quincy cross
    Standard equipment for any Quincy, the Quincy Cross acts as the focus
    for a Quincy bow. The cross need not necessarily be in a cross shape,
    as Ryūken's cross is a pentacle.





  • Seele Schneider:The
    Seele Schneider is a thin sword that can be fired similarly to an
    arrow. It's much longer than a standard arrow and functions something
    like a chainsaw: the spirit particles of its blade vibrate at
    ultra-high frequencies, loosening the molecular bonds between any
    spirit matter it cuts so that the Quincy user may easily absorb the
    freed spirit particles. Uryū also stated that using it increased his
    spiritual power. The Seele Schneiders Uryū uses are stolen from a
    secret storage room under Karakura hospital.





  • Silver tubes: Silver
    tubes are small liquid-filled capsules that store spiritual energy, and
    are used by Quincy for spellcasting in the same way that Shinigami use kidō. Like kidō, they are activated by calling out various commands.

Gintō (銀筒, Silver tubes)
are small silver cylinder capsules that store spiritual energy in a
liquid form, and are used by Quincy for spell-casting in the same way
that Shinigami use Kidō.

Like Kidō, they are activated by calling out various commands.


Weapon Abilities: Alfonse's normal arrows are green in color, and are made of solid energy. When these arrows stick into something, they dematerialize whatever they are stuck in, turning it into Reiatsu. When the opponent or object is reiatsu, it is then sent to Alfonse so it can be used as his own. So if I fired one in your arm, it would take like 3 posts for it to turn into complete spirit energy.

Bow Abilities: Wendeka Kenkai:
Alfonse fires one of his red arrows, which spin counter clockwise while
absorbing spirit particals which causes a black swirling energy to be
released from the tip of the arrow. When the arrow finds its target, it
produces an incredibly-destructive explosion on impact.

Saito: Alfonse Fires an Arrow into the ground which causes a large green energy shield to erupt in front of him. He can also fire Arrows through the air and have them freeze infront of an attack, shape themselves into a rectangular shield, and act as a defense.

Raiton:
Alfonse fires an arrow with incredible force, into the ground infront
of him. This causes a light red energy shield to form infront of him,
blocking frontal attacks.



[2 post cooldown.]



Gōkeitsu: These
are Alfonse's more concentrated Arrows, they are used to "Pick things
Apart" and can easily rip through an Espada's Hierro. Alfonse charges
up an arrow extremly fast, until it is the size of himself. Then, using
his manipulation powers, he condenses it 3 times, making it 6ft in
length, and 3 inches around. Then, Alfonse unleashes the arrow which
reaches the opponent in .5 seconds. This move is capable of blowing
large holes into the opponent, shattering defenses, tearing off limbs,
and causing large scale destruction. If hit in the torso, or head area,
the victim will most likely die.

Character Abilities:

Reiryoku Absorption:
All Quincy primarily absorb spiritual energy from the atmosphere, and
have an easier time collecting this energy in environments with higher
concentrations of spiritual particles, such as Soul Society or Hueco
Mundo. To a sufficiently powerful Quincy, there is no difference
between spiritual particles and spiritual energy as a source of power.

Reiryoku Manipulation:
He can manipulate spiritual energy for offensive purposes. He most
commonly reshapes spiritual particles into various types of bow and
arrows, but can also concentrate spiritual energy into the form of
silver tubes. Alfonse uses a cross to create his bow.

Gintō Master: Alfonse is able to use his own spirit energy to develope special Ginto Spells similar to the Shinigami's Kido.

Seele Schneider Master: Alfonse is presumably highly capable of using the soul cutting sword with great proficiency.



Genius Intellect & Athletic:
Aside from his Quincy powers, Alfonse is well-trained in both mind and
body. Due to keeping his physical prowess at it's peak, Alfonse can
easily hold out against all but the most resilient opponents during a
battle.



Ransōtengai:
A high level technique, known to be quite rare to ever be encountered.
Alfonse is presumably well versed in the use of this ability, since he
knows all Quincy techniques. this is a high level technique that allows
the user to control their body parts using strings of spirit energy
controlled by their brain, forming lines or strings out of countless
spiritrons. By using this technique, the user can control their body as
one would a puppet, allowing them to move freely despite paralysis,
broken limbs, or any other force that would impede normal movement. It
was originally created to allow elderly Quincy to fight effectively,
and is rare enough that Mayuri had never encountered a Quincy (out of
the 2661 that he examined or studied) who could use it before Uryū.



Hirenkyaku: Alfonse is highly skilled in the use of the Hirenkyaku, as he is with all Quincy techniques.



Great Spiritual Power: As a Quincy, Alfonse Alborn has a huge amount of spiritual energy.

Final Form Abilities:

Final Form Look:
Upon activation, he unleashes a black (with red outline) burst of
spiritual energy that falls around Alfonse as red rain rain. Once the
rain falls, Alfonse's face is covered with a white mask that gives him
special qualities.



Special Qualities: When in his Final Form, all Illusion Type attacks are useless.

Quincy Final Form Powers and Ablities:

In
such a state, the Quincy is able to fight with extreme strength and
speed, and can completely overwhelm an average Shinigami captain. It
could be seen as the Quincy equivalent to bankai, however this
is incorrect; The Quincy Final Form is definitely more powerful (though
to what extent is unknown,) and can only be used once as a last resort,
where as a Shinigami's bankai can be summoned whenever
necessary. Uryū Ishida used this form against Mayuri Kurotsuchi after
being pushed to his limit. A regular arrow shot in this form was able
to injure the captain to an extent, but angered him to the point of
revealing his Bankai. Uryū warned him beforehand the next arrow would be three times more powerful, but was halted and surprised by his bankai
release. Slowly being affected by the poison in his body, Uryū charged
his bow, and fired an incredibly powerful spirit arrow. This arrow was
powerful enough to cut Konjiki Ashisogi Jizō completely in half and
leave a huge hole in Mayuri's body that destroyed most of his organs,
or at least where his organs should have been.

  1. Spirit Arrow Augmentation:
    The power of the users' arrows are drastically increased; a standard
    arrow was enough to push a Captain, Mayuri Kurotsuchi, into releasing
    his Bankai. A charged arrow, arguably at full power, was enough
    to cut Mayuri's Konjiki Ashisogi Jizō completely in half, and continue
    traveling until it pierced a huge hole into his chest; even then the
    arrow still had enough power left over to cause large scale damage to
    the structures in Sereitei.

  2. Reishi Dominance: As stated by Kurotsuchi, Uryū was no longer using collection of spiritrons, but "dominance"
    over them. Using the Final Form, a Quincy can go past his mortal limits
    and break down spiritual structures, such as buildings, for their own
    power.

  3. Vast Spiritual Power:
    After the Final Form is released, the Quincy is engulfed in a
    tremendous and powerful blue aura, which is actually their reiatsu
    being released. Mayuri was shocked at how Uryū's Spiritual Pressure
    "inflated."



4. Hirenkyaku Augmentation:
The Flying Screen Step technique is much faster, allowing Uryū to get a
shot on Captain Kurotsuchi with relative ease. Using Hirenkyaku in
conjunction with their augmented arrows, a Quincy in their Final Form
becomes a deadly opponent to all but the most powerful
opponents/threats, as they are now at least stronger than a captain.

Techniques:


Enhanced Gōkeitsu: These

Los Noches in height. (Thats if the Arrow misses)

Ginto Spells:

technique creates a transparent, rectangular beam of energy from silver
tubes which slices through the opponent. It is activated by the command
"Feel the wrath of battle and accept this sacred chalice - Sacred Bite!" (大気の戦陣を杯に受けよ)

Gritz (五架縛 [グリツ], gurittsu; Japanese for "Five Rack Ties") This technique forms a man-sized pentagonal Quincy cross which envelops its target. It is activated by the command "A silver rod strikes the five-fingered stone bed - Quintuple Restraining Frames!" (銀鞭下りて五手石床に堕つ)

Wolke (緑杯 [ヴォルコル], vorukōru; German for "Cloud", Japanese for "Green Cup") This technique uses a silver tube to create a large blast. It is activated by the command "Tilt the goblet to the west - Emerald Grail!" (盃よ西方に傾け)

Sprenger (破芒陣 [シュプレンガ], shupurenga; German for "Explosion", Japanese for "Ripping Grass Formation") This
technique uses five Seele Schneiders to create a pentagon-shaped seal,
which when activated causes a massive explosion within its borders.
When an object or a person stands within the middle of the Pentagon can
the placement of the fifth Seele Schneider trap them by wrapping and
binding their legs to the ground with dense spirit particles. The Seele
Schneiders function as accumulators, gathering the necessary amount of
spirit particles to create the explosion. The liquid inside a silver
tube acts as the trigger. The preparations for the technique combined
with the charging time for the Seele Schneiders make its use in battle
impractical unless the user has a partner that can stall to buy time.

Character Abilities: Name: Empathic Mimicry
Description: (What is does.) Domon can, by understanding a person through their emotions or understanding the way that they think, copy an individuals ability to his DNA. He can also copy the abilities of inorganics by understanding their functions. More often than not, this makes him the mediator in discussions, as he can understand both sides. This also grants him an almost superhuman ability to understand how things work, and thus many call him a genius.

Domon does not know that this is his true ability, and believes that this sub-ability is his actual power.

Name: Contact Understanding
Description: By coming in contact with an object or individual, Domon can obtain a complete understanding of it. How this occurs is still up to speculation, but some assume that it comes from the shapeshifting abilities that his grandfather had.

Zanpaktou Name: Seihoshi(sacred star)
Zanpakutou Appearence A normal katana with blue ribbons as handle.
Shikai Appearence:
Zanpaktou Release Phrase: Show them the light.

Bankai Appearence: Yuuri grows 2 wings made of white feathers, resembling angel wings, wich increses her speed and agility, along giving her the ability to fly.



Weapon Abilities:

Shikai Ability:

Name: Burn
Effect:White flames will engulf the sword, sending strong heat waves through the air, making it harder for the opponent to breath. The flames cannot be put out with water, only a stronger reitsu can blow them out. Yuuri will, when the sword is hot enough, stap the tip into the ground, causing a circle of fire to engulf herself and her enemy. The only way of escaping the ring, is either blowing it away with a stronger reitsu, running through it, causing second degree burns, or knocking her out.
Duration and Cooldown: Burn can be used the moment she releases her shikai. The size and heat of flames depends on how much reitsu she pures into it, meaning she can use this when even low on reitsu, even through the flames may be weak. After being blown out, burn can be released after 2 or 3 postes, depending on her Reitsu level. When the circle is made, it will last for 5 postes, unless blown out befor.

Name: Swarm
Effect: White feathers will "spring", out of Seihoshi, and fly around Yuuri, being controlled by her hand. The feathers will become sharp as razorblades, not strong enough to piece through the human body, but strong enough to give deep cuts.
Duration and Cooldown: Swarm will last for 5 postes, if not destroyed befor. After 3 postes it can be used again.

Name: Shine
Effect: Seihoshi will begin to glow in a sharp light, making it almost impossibol for the enemy to look at it. Shine is merely a distraction ability, cannot be used as an attack.
Duration and Cooldown: 3 postes, can be used after 2.


Bankai Ability:

Name:Shinning nightmare
Effect:her blade will engulf a area in total darkness and gather spirit particles from the air. The area will cover a range of 70 feet. 5 swords will form around her. Yuuri can use her left hand to control the swords, one per finger, it will leave her open to surprise attacks. The swords are shinning, wich means that it can confuse the opponent.
Duration and or Cooldown: Shinning nightmare can only be used three in a topic since it takes most of her reitsu.

Name:Flaimming Angel
Effect:White flames will engulf her "angel wings". She can use them to dive down towards her enemies and burn them.
Duration and or Cooldown: Flaimming eagle can be used over a period of 10 postes. But it mainly depends on how much reitsu she has left.

Name: Flames of Faith.
Effect: 3 balls made of white fire(roughly 3x3 feet wide), will come out of her sword. They can be controlled with her left hand, but they mainly follow her everywere, meaning that she can use it as sneak attack if her sword is being held down by her opponent`s sowrd.
Duration and Cooldown: Flames of Faith lasts for 5 postes, can be used after 5

It also gives him a large speed boost that rivals most peoples bankai in speed. Unless said person has a speed bankai themselves.

Shinsoku Shintai - Known as god speed movements this is movement so fast that its compared to teleportation. Its movement past the sound barrier and borderlines the speed of light. Due to this when used it tears as the skin and muscles so if not for the second technique this would not be possible. If used once in a fight the user is fine as long as they have a days rest. Twice even with super healing will cause the user to go into the hospital for a week. If yoused a 3rd time a month and a 4th theyll die without rest. When not useing it the user is still twice as fast as the speed boost from a bankai boost.

Shiksoku Chiyu - Known as gos speed healing. This allows for very quick regeneration. If cut then the body will naturally heal its self this is diffrent its takes that process and increases its speed to the point that during the battle if majeh was to get a cut. That cut would be healed by the end of the battle. If foucused upon and entire arm could be regenerated from the shoulder in about an 5 min. The obvious was to beat this is to strike an instant kill blow like cutting off majeh's head. However that doesnt end it because as long as the mask is intact the healing will be used and any injury can be healed. In order to beat this simply kill majeh when hes not wearing his mask.

Reiryoku Absorption: Unlike Shinigami, who use their inner Reiryoku to fight, the Quincy fuel their abilities by absorbing the Reiryoku of their surroundings in the form of spirit particles. They primarily absorb them from the atmosphere, and have an easier time collecting this energy in environments with higher concentrations of spiritual particles, such as Soul Society or Hueco Mundo. To a sufficiently powerful Quincy, there is no difference between spiritual particles and spiritual energy as a source of power.

Reiryoku Manipulation: one can manipulate spiritual energy for offensive purposes. They most commonly reshapes spiritual particles into various types of bow and arrows, but can also concentrate spiritual energy into the form of swords or explosives.


  • Ransōtengai (乱装天傀; lit. "heavenly wild puppet suit", "disheveled paradise puppet" in the Viz translation) — this is a high level technique that allows the user to control their body parts using strings of spirit energy controlled by their brain, forming lines or strings out of countless spiritrons. By using this technique, the user can control their body as one would a puppet, allowing them to move freely despite paralysis, broken limbs, or any other force that would impede normal movement. It was originally created to allow elderly Quincy to fight effectively, and is rare enough that Mayuri had never encountered a Quincy (out of the 2661 that he examined or studied) who could use it before Uryū.



Dislocated joints and broken bones are meaningless against this technique. Mayuri stated it as "the most powerful technique for the Quincy," but he did not know of the Quincy Final Form, which means as far as Mayuri knew it was the strongest.

Nuclear Arrow- Kazu fires an arrow with a red static around it, when this arrow impacts(or touches anything), it will erupt with a massive explosion.(think of it as when ulquiorra throws the javelin in his second resurrection, and that massive shock wave went off, except a fire version) (duration 1/cooldown 4)

Tsuin Gufuu- Kazu fires a red arrow, that when on impact, two massive fire tornado's erupt out of the ground. (duration 2 cooldown 4)

Hell Invertion- Kazu fires an arrow into the ground, and thin beams of fire erupt out around the enemy(duration 3 coolodown 5)


  • Hollow bait — This item is a small, coin-shaped disk that attracts hollows when crushed.[8] When used by Uryū, the bait, in combination with Ichigo's powerful spiritual pressure, was able to draw a Gillian-class Menos out of Hueco Mundo.


  • Quincy Bangle (装身具, sōshingu; lit. "Accessory"): Introduced in the anime's Bount arc, the Quincy Bangle is an artifact designed to mimic a Quincy's natural powers. It works by drawing in spirit particles from the environment, much like a Quincy does regularly. It can only be used properly by those who are already adept at forming and directing spirit particles.


  • Quincy cross (滅却十字, mekkyaku jūji; lit. "Destruction Cross")[9]: Standard equipment for any Quincy, the Quincy Cross acts as the focus for a Quincy bow. The cross need not necessarily be in a cross shape, as Ryūken's cross is a pentacle.


  • Sanrei Glove (散霊手套, sanrei shutō): A powerful Quincy artifact that can increase a Quincy's power exponentially, but requires a dangerous and exhausting type of resistance training (wearing it for a week while constantly firing spiritual arrows) to master. The glove works by scattering the spirit particles in the surrounding area, making it much harder to form a working bow. If a Quincy can summon a bow and use it for the required amount of time, they will have undergone a massive increase in power. When removed, however, the glove will release the user's energy all at once - first transforming them into a being of tremendous strength, the Quincy Final Form, and then forcing their Quincy powers to gutter out completely.


  • Seele Schneider (魂を切り裂くもの (ゼーレシュナイダー), Zēreshunaidā; German for "Soul Cutter", Japanese for "That Which Slits the Soul"): The Seele Schneider is a thin sword that can be fired similarly to an arrow. It's much longer than a standard arrow and functions something like a chainsaw: the spirit particles of its blade vibrate at ultra-high frequencies, loosening the molecular bonds between any spirit matter it cuts so that the Quincy user may easily absorb the freed spirit particles. Uryū also stated that using it increased his spiritual power. [10] The Seele Schneiders Uryū uses are stolen from a secret storage room under Karakura hospital.


  • Silver tubes (銀筒, Gintō): Silver tubes are small liquid-filled capsules that store spiritual energy, and are used by Quincy for spellcasting in the same way that Shinigami use kidō. Like kidō, they are activated by calling out various commands.[11]



Final Form Abilities

Special Qualities: While in final form, the speed of Kazu's arrows are doubled, they also seek the target, even if he dodges, if they are destroyed, they will instantly reform at a distance where they will gain enough speed to kill.

Spirit Arrow Augmentation: The power of the users' arrows are drastically increased; a standard arrow was enough to push a Captain, Mayuri Kurotsuchi, into releasing his Bankai. A charged arrow, arguably at full power, was enough to cut Mayuri's Konjiki Ashisogi Jizō completely in half, and continue traveling until it pierced a huge hole into his chest; even then the arrow still had enough power left over to cause large scale damage to the structures in Sereitei.

Reishi Dominance: As stated by Kurotsuchi, Uryū was no longer using collection of spiritrons, but "dominance" over them. Using the Final Form, a Quincy can go past his mortal limits and break down spiritual structures, such as buildings, for their own power.

Vast Spiritual Power: After the Final Form is released, the Quincy is engulfed in a tremendous and powerful blue aura, which is actually their reiatsu being released. Mayuri was shocked at how Uryū's Spiritual Pressure "inflated."

Hirenkyaku Augmentation: The Flying Screen Step technique is much faster, allowing Uryū to get a shot on Captain Kurotsuchi with relative ease. Using Hirenkyaku in conjunction with their augmented arrows, a Quincy in their Final Form becomes a deadly opponent to all but the most powerful opponents/threats, as they are now at least stronger than a captain.

Kazu gains the ability to launch a massive fire arrow( around 25 feet tall and however many feet wide) that will seek the target, on impact the opponent will be surrounded in a column of fire and will be burned, and lacerated from the arrows inside.

Techniques: Kazu shoots one arrow into the air that erupts into a giant flaming phoenix, this phoenix then emits enormous columns of fire from its beak to rain down on the enemy, mean while, its presence is causing thin beams of fire to erupt from the ground

Name: Koutetsu Suru Hi

Yuki uses a zanpakuto, though she is more proficient in hand-to-hand combat, so if she loses her zanpakuto then she would still fight without one.

Sealed Appearance: Yuki's zanpakuto is a normal katana, with the blade roughly 65cm long. It has an abnormally shaped guard so that when viewed from a certain angle it almost looks like a snowflake pattern. The hilt and grip is a powder blue with flecks and swirls of darker shades of blue swirling randomly around like a snowstorm, making it look quite attractive. The actual blade of the katana has irregular lengths of blue tendrils of differing thicknesses snaking down from the hilt to the end of the blade to give the appearance that the blade is being iced over.

Shikai Appearance:[b] The blue tendrils on the sword turn into ice and swirl and move so that it reaches up past the blade and onto the guard and hilt. They then encompass her hand, which is still holding the hilt, so that it is connected to the sword, and the tendrils then travel up her arm until her shoulder, so that they resemble veins on her arm, though they’re more frequent than her veins, and some of the tendrils don’t make it all the way up to her shoulder. This effectively makes her sword just an extension of her arm.

The blade also shrinks so that it only extends roughly 20cm away from her arm. The ice tendrils are extremely hard and act as a sort of shield on her arm to compensate for the extremely small blade. With the smaller blade and the more freedom in manoeuvrability Yuki’s fighting is similar to that of hand-to-hand combat with a knife or dagger, rather than sword fighting.

Her Shikai favours speed rather than power, so her speed increases more than her power level does in order for her to be able to make the attacks that she does. Also, because of her short stature, combined with the speed, she is able to do moves that would generally not be possible with a longer blade – like quickly ducking through a small gap between a person and a wall and cutting them on the leg on the way through.

Yumi Touketsu Suru Hi
Translation: Graceful Frozen Fire

Bankai Appearance: The icy tendrils along her left arm reach down and across her back until it covers it with the vein-y blue ice, though it can’t be seen because of her shirt.

The ice then goes along her right shoulder and reaches down her right arm exactly the same as the left, with a 20cm long blade extending past her arm. The two blades move with her body and arms as extensions, with their motion being fluid and smooth, often described as graceful. Her speed is increased more than her power - though that is increased as well, but not nearly as much as her speed.

Now she is extremely fast and her fighting style is even more like hand-to-hand combat, with her smaller body being able to manoeuvre out of tight situations. Also, the coldness of her attacks has increased, and the air surrounding her turns extremely cold, so much so that you can see your own breath in front of you.

Name of ability: Hisame (Ice Storm)

Description of attack:

When this attack is used millions of tiny, sharp ice fragments rain down on the ground and can cut through things that are weaker in power than Yuki with relative ease, but they can be easily dodged or protected against by beings of higher power or skill – but they can still be cut under certain circumstances, for example, if they were previously injured and not at their best. T

his is an ice based offensive attack that can have a wide circular range up to 30m in diameter. However, because of the large diameter there is lots of gaps where no ice falls, though because of the irregularity of the raining ice, those gaps are hard to predict.

For this attack to work there needs to be a high level of moisture in the air, and it needs to come from moisture with the chemical component H2O, so the moisture can’t be absorbed from just any liquid, for example blood.

If the temperature surrounding the ice particles raises high enough than they will just melt into harmless water, but for a temperature that high – 100 degrees Celsius – it will usually only be in a concentrated area.

This attack can be sustained for as long as there is moisture available, or until Yuki grows tired from the output of reiatsu and that can depend on how large the diameter is, and also how fatigued her body was to start the attack, but it cannot exceed more than 5 minutes of just a constant barrage of ice.

With higher powered opponents (two tier levels higher and ones above that) the attack may hurt less because of their increased spirit power which may act as a natural defence, meaning that the ice won’t feel as sharp to them because their reiatsu repels them, possibly not getting cut at all depending on their own fatigue and injuries.

Name of ability: Toushou (Frostbite)

Description of attack:

The Zanpakuto blade grows so cold it feels as though it’s burning when it touches skin and ice instantly starts to form over where it has touched. This is an ice based offensive attack that can only be used in close proximity fighting as the ice only an area 5cm in every direction away from where the blade touches.

The blade needs to have a period of time to cool down to such a low temperature, and during this time Yuki is unable to use any of her other Shikai abilities in case she warms the blade up. It takes between 5 to 10 minutes for the blade to cool down depending on how much she is using the blade. For example, if she was in the middle of a fight and was constantly hitting her opponent it would take longer for the blade to cool down then if she was dodging and not attacking.

When the ice appears on whatever surface Yuki has hit it only stays for a few minutes depending on the strength of her opponent – 5mins maximum for weaker opponents. If the blade touches a surface not part of a person i.e. the ground, then the ice stays there indefinitely until the temperature of the area heats up or until Yuki gets rid of it after a fight.

However, on the ground/walls etc the ice is a lot thinner and weaker and so can break, e.g. if somebody stood on it, and once broken it would melt off its own accord in the next minute or so. Ice on the ground can be used to trip the opponent as well because it is very slippery, but once used it breaks and melts.

The attack can only be used four times in a row before the blade needs more time to cool back down to the right temperature which would be a further 5-10mins, so it cannot be used excessively.

Name of ability: Mizu ha retsu (Water burst)

Description of attack:

A small ball of water – only roughly 8cm in diameter – shoots out from the end of the Zanpakuto at an opponent. If it hit them then it explodes its water everywhere, which can serve to surprise the opponent, but it isn’t painful no matter who the opponent is.

The idea of the attack is to act as a diversion rather than an attack that inflicts pain. It is very similar to when a water balloon is thrown at somebody and it explodes. After the water bursts the water is pulled down to the ground by gravity, and it can buy a few seconds of time depending on how quickly the opponent recovers from the surprise of the water bursting.

Though it is just normal water, its chemical composition is slightly different to normal water in the way that it has a slightly higher melting point than water usually has, so it can’t be absorbed and used as a source of moisture in Yuki’s Hisame attack.

The attack does have an advantage over fire based attacks, but it can only be used once every 10-15mins because it was designed as a diversion attack and not meant to give any real advantages, other than the element of surprise.

The attack can be shot up to 5 feet away, but the larger the distance it has to travel the harder it is to aim properly and hit the target. This means that the opponent will be able to see it coming if they are facing toward Yuki and will be able to easily use shunpo, or any variation for other races, to dodge the attack.

Bankai Attack:

Name of ability: Koori tta hi (Icy Fire)

Description of attack:

Cold ice is released from the tip of the Zanpakuto in any direction that the sword is pointed, though it can only travel straight. The ice is said to be so cold that it is as though you were hit with fire instead.

This is an ice based offensive attack and the ice can travel up to 5m away from the sord, though the further away from the sword you are when you get hit, the less concentrated the blast so the further away you are the less cold it is. This ability is the upgraded version of Toushou, and just like that attack it needs a cooling down period of 5-10mins, and the more activity the sword has, the more time is needed to cool down.

The attack can only be used twice from each sword, so four times in total, before the swords need to cool down again, but this time it takes 10-15 mins to cool down. Because of the mono-direction of the attack it can be dodged and avoided easily enough, and for the strong opponents they can use kido to block the attack.

Character Abilities:

Yuki is able to use shunpo and she is very good at it. In a fight Yuki favours her speed more than her strength and as a result she has been able to hone her shunpo ability to be incredibly fast, usually faster than most people she fights.

She is also able to use kido up to level 90, if she really tries, but she doesn't rely on it and doesn't really like using it so tries to not use it in a fight, though she has the ability to.

Weapon Description:
Sealed Zanpakuto:
There aren't many short Zanpakuto users in the modern era. Most were either killed or have been lost in the reformation of Soul Society; mainly because most Shinigami prefer to use a long Dick to put space between their opponents and themselves. One of these exceptions of course is Sadaharu Ibaraki. He is one of the only people to wield a single Wakizashi Zanpakuto; the small, light version of a Katana that is often used as a side arm. Where Sadaharu's Zanpakuto is different is in the fact that is heavier then normal and that blade is slightly wider from the back of the blade to the blade edge, making it like a small clever of sorts.

The base of the handle is covered with an engraved, open mouthed lion’s head that looks as if it's delivering a violent roar. It does not protrude very far, but is still a very dominant feature of the Zanpakuto. The ornament that is placed in the handle is that of a paw imprint that is a dark yellow mustard colour. The handle its self is wrapped with golden yellow leather that criss-cross over the entire handle length of about 9 inches. The handle runs into the hilt which again is unique.

The guard is a dark mustardy coloured metal like the paw imprint in the handle. The guard its self is in the shape of a rich, over lapping, messy lion's mane. The guard then continues and runs onto the deep blade which is of 18 inches in length. The blade is the normal steel colour and bears no abnormal markings. The sheath is made of wood and is covered with a thin layer of fine white leather, with thin golden straight lines that run mid way down the sheath in both directions. The small Dick is strapped to Sadaharu's back via a yellow, silken rope, hanging the weapon in a Diagonal fashion running from his left shoulder to his right hip, following his scar.

Shikai:

The first level of release for the Zanpakuto often gives an idea of what is yet to come. Shikai is the partial release of the soul of one's Zanpakuto, and as such is indeed a reflection of users fighting style. Sadaharu Ibaraki's Shikai is to the very least, unique.

After uttering Tategami's release phrase, the air around Sadaharu ignites with a bright white-yellow light. Holding Tategami horizontally, in front of his body, pointing backwards out of his hand, the blade de-materializes. After a split second the light seems to condense around each of his wrists. Once the air as cleared of the light, the physical changes of Tategami become fully apparent. The blade has separated into two vambracers, with one blade protruding from the top of each. Each of the vambracers has a rough linen material underneath each, to protect from rubbing and to also cause a distraction. From each hangs one long ratty piece of yellow material that trails behind while striking, hoping to distract the eye of his opponents.

The actual shape of the vambrace is that of a crudely carved lion's head. On both of the wrists, the opened mouthed, roaring valiant lions head protrudes. The colour of the metal used is a ruddy yellow-bronze shade that is not often seen. Starting with the lion's mane that flows around the head and around each of the wrists, to the well shaped face; it is obvious that these weapons resemble the spirit that resides within the Zanpakuto. The face of the lion is what really captivates onlookers and expresses the very beauty and power of Tategami.

The blades that protrude out from the vambraces resemble tear drop like blades. They are about the same length as the sealed Zanpakuto blade, but are not modelled in the katana style. Each blade points forward with the direction of the hand, and appear to be about 20 inches in length, around about as long as the original unsealed Zanpakuto's blade length. The tear drop shape is slight but noticeable, following the edge of the blade, along the interior, is a small groove cut away to reduce the weight and allow for faster attacking manoeuvres. It also acts as a pooling area for Reiatsu before it is released during Sadaharu's abilities. The sharp edge could easily slice a man in two, with little effort involved at all.

Fine steel craftsmanship like this is only possible through the creation of a Zanpakuto.

Bankai:

Bankai, the second and ultimate release of one’s Zanpakuto. Each Bankai in its self is completely unique, and holds abilities that further each user’s power to its furthest limits. Sadaharu is one of the lucky few who have trained for the full ten years to achieve the strength to be able to control his powerful full release of his Zanpakuto, Tategami. Sadaharu's particular Bankai focuses around the use of his extreme speed and explosive abilities.

Upon uttering the word "Bankai", immense power is radiated from Sadaharu. A dark yellow aura seems to swallow the air around him, until eventually clearing to reveal the further additions to Sadaharu Shikai. Starting from head to toe, Sadaharu's features seem to have taken on a very feline like presence. His nose is slightly flatter to his face, his eyes are larger and his pupils have been replaced with cat like slits. His hair has grown longer and is spread out around his face like a huge red mane. And his teeth have grown to be more cat like.

His hands have become larger and his finger nails have grown into small, sharp claws. Following up his arms, thin, felt like hair has become visible, that is similar in colour to his thick mane of hair. These are the only real anatomical changes that Sadaharu appears to have received. Instead, his Zanpakuto's features have been amplified.

The small vambraces that are produced upon Shikai release have been replaced by longer, more detailed versions of the original. Instead of covering just the wrist area, these vambraces cover most of Sadaharu's forearm, and sit on top of a fine, yellow material that is thin, strong and very comfortable. The same concept from the Shikai applies, but instead of long dangly scraps of material hanging out the sides, there are two long and well designed strips of material that hang from either end of the vambrace; at the top near the hand and at the bottom near the elbow.

Even during the Shikai release, the vambraces were works of art. The lion's heads then looks extremely well crafted, but, in Bankai, they have been taken one step further. If they had any real colour on them, you would swear that each lion looks like it has been frozen in time. Every hair, wrinkle in the skin, tooth, gum, nose and whisker looks completely real. The only thing that is missing are the snarling eyes, which have been left out, instead there are small crevices that burrow deep into the metal. These life-like, snarling, metal lion's are what really captivates the eye of witnesses. This is quickly followed by large blades.

When I say large, I mean LARGE. Each blade is almost twice the length of the Shikai released blades. The length from the vambrace to tip stretches about 150cm. And, just like the Shikai, these weapons follow the same tear-drop shape. But instead of a subtle shape, these blades that are about 30cm wide at there widest point, have a very prominent tear-drop shape. These mammoth things strike fear into the small number of enemies that have had the privilege to see them. The groove that follows along the edge of the interior of the blade has as well been modified. It seems to make a wave effect towards the middle where it dips slightly deeper then the rest of the Dick. This acts to reduce the overall weight and provide a pool for the Reiatsu to form.

Weapon Abilities:
Shikai
Raion Tsumi (Lion's Claw): The basic ability created by Sadaharu in his time as a seated officer while serving in the Soul Society ranks. Reiatsu is built up along the entire edge of his Zanpakuto, giving a faint blue glow that seems to emanate from the metal like a small flame. After a sufficient amount of Reiatsu is gathered, it is released all at once upon hitting a target. The result is a directed small scale explosion of Reiatsu, capable of tearing tissue and causing moderate flesh wounds. Can be used with either one or both blades. If the attack is Unable to be used, the energy becomes volatile and has to be allowed to dissipate.

Raion Sutoraiku (Lion Strike): Very similar to Raion Tsumi, this attack uses the same manner of Reiatsu based attack. Where this attack differs is that small interrupted bursts of Reiatsu is released upon multiple hits, each releasing bursts of Reiatsu with the aim of wearing down an opponents defence, or causing multiple, quick, powerful strikes. Most usually used in 3-5 hit combos in an acrobatic fashion. Energy is not released from the whole edge of the blade like Raion Tsumi, instead is released after the attack is landed, from the site of impact along the blade. Reiatsu is stored within the hollowed out part of the blades. If the attack is Unable to be used, the energy becomes volatile and has to be allowed to dissipate.

Raion sokuryoku (Lion Speed): This is a charged version of Shunpo. By adding two extra steps into each movement, Sadaharu is able move at an extremely fast rate. By gathering Reiatsu around his body, he exerts it through his feet giving a small booster effect, making a small yellow jet-stream of energy flow out from behind him. This is a passive active ability that slowly draws energy from Sadaharu.

Isamashii Otakebi (Valiant Roar):
A short to mid ranged attack used for its knockback effect and deafening ability. Reiatsu is gathered in Sadaharu's chest and released all at once in a directed roar that is comparable to a sonic boom. It lasts for about 3 to 4 seconds and appears as a large rippling wave of air. Depending on the opponent, this attack can knock back an enemy quite a distance and even cause loss of hearing for a short moment. When used on an opponent considerably weaker to himself, this causes a 20 meter knock back and 3 post length loss of hearing. On an opponent weaker then him it causes a 15 meter knockback and 2 posts of deafness. On an opponent of similar strength it causes a 10 meter knockback and 1 post of deafness. On an opponent stronger then himself, it causes a 5 meter knockback and no loss of hearing. Has to hit the opponent to be effective, can be directed by moving the head but not steered specifically. Travels at the speed of sound. Travels in a cone shaped burst with a diameter of 1 meter within the first 5 meters of the attack. After 10 meters the diameter is 2 meters by 3/4 the prior effectiveness. At 15 meters all knockback effects are nullified and the ability to deafen an opponent is very weak.

Bankai
Shishi Haretsu (Lion Burst): A mid ranged attack made of Reiatsu and spirit particles. Sadaharu gathers Reiatsu in each blade, until each is filled to its maximum capacity, and is then released with high force. Both weapons are brought down at the same time in the shape of an "X". As the attack travels a few meters, it gathers a tail of spirit particles that travel in its wake. The attack travels in a straight line and cannot be controlled or directed once released. When the attack hits it target, the Reiatsu cuts deeply into the opponent and is then followed by the high speed Spirit Particles that were behind it. Effectively causing medium ranged damage from the wave of Reiatsu and from the shrapnel like Particles. Travels at the same speed as Cero.

Shishi Taibu Bakuha (Greater Lion Blast):
The strongest attack in Sadaharu's arsenal. This is the ultimate version of Sadaharu's Raion Tsumi. Reiatsu is charged in one blade and is spiked with the dark energy from his Inner Hollow. The resulting attack unleashes a black and yellow fire like explosion upon contact with a target, causing a small area of devastation in a controlled blast facing away from Sadaharu. The attack effectively rips, cuts, shreds and tears everything within the area of effect, while causing severe Reiatsu inflicted burns. This attack is wearing and can only be used 3 times max while in Bankai before all of Sadaharu's energy runs out. If the attack is Unable to be used, the energy becomes volatile and has to be allowed to dissipate. Considering the extreme power of this attack, it needs to be used within a few moves for the attack to not either backfire or be less effective due to Reiatsu dissipation

Character Abilities:
Cero
Description:
Sadaharu's Cero is some what disapointing compared to what a real Cero should be. Its size, and range is dwarved in comparison to a high ranking Espada. Sure it wouldn't tickle to get hit by it, but isn't the strongest attack in Sadaharu's repetae. He generally uses his Cero as a flashy source for a distraction or too force back an opponent. Holding his blade in his right hand facing, with the blade pointing to the right, both hands are raised, and the small yellow ball of energy is formed and released in a mediocre beam.

Garganta
Description:
How Arrancar move to and from Hueco Mundo. It literally tears open the dimensional fabric separating the worlds, revealing a tunnel of whirling, torrential energy that must be focused and solidified to create a discernible pathway. When used, the technique opens the dimensional fabric like a door.

Sonido
Description:
The Arrancar equivalent of the Shinigami flash steps; it allows the user to travel at incredibly high speeds for short distances. Use of sonido is punctuated by a brief static sound, in contrast to the "swish" sound used for flash steps.

Shunpo
Description:
A movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow.[2]. The focal point that determines the bases of this technique is speed. As speed is the main point of the technique the method is best characterized by how fast one can get from point A to point B in the least amount of steps. Training and skill are what determines how fast a user of Shunpo can move; those of little skill in the technique or those who haven't used it an extended amount of time would obviously be out of practice, causing those individuals to be considerably slower, which requires the use of more steps to move the same distance and become winded far easier in a shorter amount of time.
