hope is a fickle mistress, it promises good things and cruelly snatches it away at times, but still we must go on

without
hope we are lost, but with friends we can find our way even without
hope, but when we have friends and hope we will always achieve our
hearts desires if we truly want to

though
our path may be dark, we can light the way for each other in our
darkest hour, and in the end achieve great things despite the
overwhelming doubt that plagues our hearts and minds

even when all else is lost, if we keep our minds focused and our hearts firm, nothing is truly impossible except for that we can not imagine, even than our imagination is limited to what we know despite our understanding of all things possible or impossible

a thought provoker... I have seen the effects of hope, and the cruelty of despair. I have seen people who are told they will die that day live for months afterward because they had hope, and I seen people who have been told they have months to live and die the next day because they gave up. The mindset of an individual greatly affects ones health, and life.

I'm sorry if I seem a little on the depressing side this morning, last night I had a very rough death for a patient... So right now I have little hope for anything. A very rough night, indeed...

That's a beautiful poem. And I'm sorry, Rukia

Death is but a doorway to something else, it is neither a beginning nor an end, it is but a gateway between here and there, our journey never ends unless we stop our travels, but even than we merely change paths and begin a new journey, in life and death only one thing remains us, although we touch many people and inspire them in many ways, we are eternally alone yet not alone, accompanied yet not accompanied, helping but not helping and failing but not failing, everything balances out in the end, if we do our best we shall both succeed and fail, that is the truth of things in the grand scheme

Or at least one point of view on it. I wouldn't know if this is something deep, or just idle ranting of an idiot. But everyone sees things differently. I hope those who read it take into account I am saying how I see it and do not expect unversal agreement.

Although death affects me less than most people, I do still feel a loss. I do still grieve, just not as much as I think/feel I should. I am not immune to death, I am merely detached from the full impact of it. But it does still affect me like it does everyone else. Hopefully we can have more people share some philosophy or quasi philosophy if they want to. That is why I started this topic. XDX
